Just wondering what the opinion of the factory plastic glock holster is.  Anyone have any pics of how it rides, and/or conceals?  Would you trust it?

I hate them.  I bought one new for $5 that fits my G20 and 21, and I think it's useless.  The pistol binds in it, making it hard to draw.  I'd even take a Fobus over a factory Glock holster.  Personally, I'd spend the extra money and buy a Serpa or Blade Tech.

Thank you very much for the honest reply.  I was mainly looking at it for something to get me by until I figured out what other holster to get.  I'm still in the process of researching all my options.  I wasn't aware that glock made holsters.

I have both size Glock combat holsters.

If you have a loose belt with a Glock holster, the combination will not work.

I use them on my wilderness belt. The holsters don't move very much, and the draw has to be more of a "rip" from the holster.

I have no problem presenting the firearm from this combination in about 1-1.5 seconds
from an unzipped jacket at the 4 o'clock position.

The holsters also ride fairly high, leaving nothing in the way of your draw/grip.

there is a small catch/lock that engages the front of the trigger guard built in to the holster.

I think i'd have no problem paying twice what Glock want's for these holsters, especially when carrying a gun all day long. (the less weight, the better sometimes.)

Range use only. Buy a quality leather holster for carry, you won't regret it.

The Glock factory holster are total crap.
I tried to resell them for several months and did not even get a lowball offer.
I ended up giving them away to Goodwill.

2 mods are needed.  Take a razorknife or file and cut off the bump inside that engages the triggerguard.  Then spray some silicone spray inside the holster and let it dry.  If you do these 2 things, the holster will be slicker than snot.  For $13, if you do the mods, I don't think you can beat it.  It is extremely thin, CHEEP, and very fast the way I run it.  I like to run a G23 on each side under a sweatshirt in the factory holsters.  Very concealable, comfortable, and fast.

That is a GREAT carry setup.  Good on ya!

In regard to the Glock factory holster, there seem to be to separate camps.  Some hate it, some swear by it and carry in it.

I haven't personally tried one yet, just may have to to see what all the fuss is about.  I'll admit that after handling one, the loops seem somewhat thin/fragile, but I have seen reports from folks that they do last a long time.

Gotta check this out one of these days.

They're an OK holster.  As mentioned above, if you have a stiff belt, they're decent and for $5-$7 they're a LOT better than a Fobus or Uncle Mike's holster.

I like Raven Concealment Systems, Comp-Tac CTAC or Blade Tech IWB but they're all significantly more expensive ($50-$75).

I picked one up to get me through until my raven concealment holster arrives.  I can't wait for the raven, but thanks for all the replies.

Carrying a glock on each side seems like an interesting method.
