Anyone here ever use an add on light rail for an earlier generation Glock 19. I've seen them in Brownells and was wondering how they work. It seems like it could come loose at a most inopportune time. Any thoughts?

I have thought about making a jig to hold a dremel w/ cutoff wheel and a jig to hold the second gen frame and cut a rail in it. There definately is enough width to do it, but cutting the slot in the bottom of the frame would potentially go all the way through. If this got screwed up you could send it to Glock for the frame upgrade.
It is definately bubba so that is why I haven't gotten past the planning stage. |
