hey guys i recently bought my glock 21 and wanted to know what year it was made in.
heres part of the serial number GHTxxx i got it as far as July with the G, but cant figure out the rest. ive been searching high and low. thanks. |

yeah, i searched the shit out of that thread and didnt find anything besides the first letter meaning july. i cant find the other two in a combination "HT" from what i read the last two letter signify the year. if i read it right on that site, the year of my 3rd gen glock would be 1928.....wtf??? |
| Glock doesn't use date coding like, say, HK, where letters mean digits of years or months. Their serial numbers are simply sequential. Seeing how GHS covers G20's in July of 04, and GHX covers G23's in July of 04, it would be safe to say GHT was also July of 04. |

I did look on the list before and after and I'm guessing your pistol is 2004 production. You can always check the casing of the test cartridge too as the envelope is dated. This is usually fairly close. I would call Glock as well..... |
