Will g19 & g17 mags work in a g26 , plus is a g26 as reliable as a g19?

Yes, Yes and Yes. You can get sleeves for the bottoms of the 17 and 19 mags to make the grip flush. I actually shoot my 26 better than my 19. But I love to have the extra capacity in my backup gun,

Yes to all 3 questions.
Those "sleeves" are unecessary and can pinch the hell out of your hand if you slam a mag in in a hurry. And they add unecessary bulk to the mag as it's carried in your mag pouch.
