I heard you could put a .40 caliber magazine into a Glock 17 and it will hold 9mm ammo to hold more rounds.  Anybody know about this?

It will work.  You may experience that when the magazine is out of the pistol it's easy for the rounds to jump out.  I wouldn't rely on it for ccw or protection but it will work at the rang ok.

If 17 is not enough, get some 33's, works real well.

Haven't tried it, no reason to.  I suppose someone could try it, but I dont' see why.

As said above, I'm real happy with 17 rnds.

I really wouldn't recommend it, the 9mm and .40 mags are slightly different in internal dimensions.  Even if you could cram more than 17 rnds of 9mm in a G22 mag, I doubt it would feed well, and I could see rounds popping out of the top fairly easily.
