What is everyone using for ammo through these suckers?

I bought a 100 pack of mini-mags and it ate all of them.
But they don't offer bricks of Mini-mags by me and they are quite pricey locally.

What are some cheap brands that can be purchased in bricks, that cycles the glock AA?

Thanks!!

Ummm... Is this thing on? <taps microphone>

Any bulk ammo suggestions for this are greatly appreciated.

In terms of bulk pack ammo, the Remington 36gr "Golden Bullet" 525 round packs have worked well for me - only about a 2% failure rate (usually due to primers not igniting).

I've run thousands of rounds of CCI MiniMags through my AA conversion with great success, so I buy the stuff by the ton from Outdoor Marksman.

I'm also interested in this topic as I have one of these conversions on order for my G21.  Probably won't get it for another 1-2 mos., so I'm just a voyeur right now.

The first bulk .22lr that I would try is Remington Golden Bullets.  I've had excellent success with them in my S&W 22S.  In fact, they're about the only cheap stuff that I've found to work well in that pistol.  It's fairly picky about ammo, but it's digested thousands of Rem. GB's with almost 0 problems.  They work so well for me that I've pretty much stopped experimenting and have just settled on that round for it.  The Rem. GB's are a little dirty, but cleaning your firearm is part of the Zen of shooting, isn't it?  -TB

Thanks for the response.
So I have to hunt down some Remington Golden Bullets now.
Alrighty.

Is it cheaper/easier to find them online?
I doubt my local shops will have decent prices on it.

Remington Golden bullets run flawlessly in my AA conversion.  Cheapest place to get em is wal-mart, $15.xx for a box of 5xx i believe.

Hi Ken
As I said you should really run by Walmart and check their prices for minimags. Barring that you might be able to get a good deal on a case (or brick) via mail. I thought the papers indicated the other brands that would feed. Glad youre enjoying it...

I shoot everything in mine, I forget which brand was a "DON'T USE".  I figure someone with AA had a problem with someone at brand XX and they got into a pissing match.

I use everything, Federal, Winchester, Remington, Fiochhi, whatever.....OOPS did you hear my warranty just expire

The AA works great!!!

Thanks.
The paper included in the AA kit said that lower velocity ammo like the Federal Bulk pack won't cycle the slide. They recommended 40 grain high velocity ammo.

I'll have to check out Walmart for the Golden Bullets bulk pack, otherwise I'm fine with using mini-mags just have to order them online. About half the price of them locally.
They also recommended Remington Thunderbolts (just bought a 100 pack for $3.50 locally) and another brand I don't remember off hand.

Can't wait to get back to the range friday.

That's what I've used in mine, though only 100 rounds since I bought it 3 days ago.

I got an e-mail from Advantage Arms that the G21 kit that I had ordered 12/4 will arrive this week.  I was kind of surprised because the order confirmation had said they had a 6-8 backlog.

BTW, this is from the AA web site:
We highly recommend Remington "Golden Bullets" for everyday plinking and CCI MiniMags for better accuracy.
