Are glock frames interchangeable? I have a glock 17 and found a glock 24 complete slide for sale. Any problems with mounting it on the 17 frame?

sorry, I don't have any pics but, that is the locking block. If you pull off the slide, it is the U shaped metal hunk right behind the front slide rails in the frame.

where is the part that you say

All Glocks, no matter what generation or caliber have pins 1&2:

1)Trigger Mechanism Housing pin
2)Trigger Pin

All Glocks regardless of the generation, other then the 9mm fullsize and compact, up to '02 have pin #3

3)Locking Block Pin

All Glocks after '02 regardless of size or caliber have all 3 pins

ETA:
If your G17 has all 3 pins, yes you can use the G24 upper on your receiver. You just need to change the ejector.

ok , if i want to reemplace the barrel of a glock 23 to a barrel of a model 19 i'm be sure with the 23 and 19 have the tree pins

i cannot put a barrel of a glock 19 2 pins to a model 23 3 pins ?

DON'T use a G19 barrel in ANY G23

If you want to shoot 9mm out of your G23 you will need a conversion barrel

The 9mm and .40 barrels have a different outside diameter.

Glock 24 upper went on to the G 17 frame without a hitch. Didn't change anything in the frame, just used .40 mags and so far it hasn't had any jams.

the 40 cal ammo had enough recoil to knock off the mag well. I had been running light 9mm reloads and it stayed on just fine.
