I bought a third one back in April, and I paid $525 locally.

$525-$550 sounds about right to me.  Bud's price is $537 + shipping.

Keep an eye out for used.  Since it's more of a niche gun, as compared to, say, a G19, you see the occasional buyer's remorse used listing of a G20 with 50 rounds through it.  I got mine used (6 mos. old, 250 rounds) with 7 mags, two holsters and an M5 streamlight for $650.  With a little patience, you could grab a barely-used G20 for $425-$450.

I just bought mine at a gun show for $540, IIRC. Came with two hi-cap mags.

If you've not found them yet, try GA Arms for your ammo needs. They're about half of commercial pricing.

Good luck!

Echoing other posters, 525-550 is the going price for a really good deal.

$575-600 is typical for average gun shops.  You also need to factor in how
much your time and gas is to drive somewhere to save $25-50.
Used ones were running $475-$525.  I would not hesitate to buy a used
one if I got a good price.

If you are in public safety in any capacity (emt, firefighter, LE, etc) you qualify for
Glock's Public Safety/Military discount and that will make a new G20 about $460
from a qualified Glock distributer (usually there is only one or two in a state
that can give this discount).  I waited about seven weeks for mine.  I'd spent a month
researching prices locally and having one shipped to a local FFL from out of
state before I found out about the discount.

I've had mine since beginning of September and I *love* it.  I also have the G29, got
it when they first came out and while I like it, the G20 handles better.

+1
no need to pay over 550

i picked one up used less than 200 rounds for under $440

if you look around &/or use applicable discounts, under 500 will be easy
