So I have been stopping by my local shooting range with my Kimber Custom 2 over the last month and each time I'm in I try a new glock. I never cared for Glock's in the past but they have grown on me and I'm ready to buy. My problem is this...do I get the Glock 17 or the Glock 34.
I love the way the 34 handles and fires, but I find that I'm pretty much just as accurate with the 17 and I like the shorter sight radius/handling of the 17. That said, there's just something about that 34, kinda like the difference between shooting a Springfield Mil-spec 1911 and a Kimber, same gun, pretty much equal accuracy, but that Kimber just feels right. This is my thing, is there a company out there that modifies Glocks like Kimber does 1911s? Ideally I'd like to get a 17 with the 34s trigger/slide release/sights and maybe add a competition/match barrel...has anybody else gone this route? Just hoping for a little info to point me in the right direction or some testimonials. Thanks. |

Changing out the connector and slide stop lever isn't hard to do.Sights can be done by most any gun shop. Most barrels just drop in. |
