just picked up a very lightly used glock30 - i gave it a quick cleaning and oiling before taking it to the range friday - everything went fine -shot good, etc... about 30 rounds.  brought it home to clean and I seem to be having a difficult time actually getting it clean like I normally do.  When i gave it a quick cleaning b4 shooting - i just used the nylon brush that came with the gun.  after shooting i decided to use a phosphate bronxe brush and hoppes#9 - well everytime I run the brush through I get more 'dirt' - even after running clean patched through that come out clean.  I didn't see anything in the manual about no using phophate bronze brush.  Did I miss something?  I used Winchester usa 45acp from walmart fmj

A bronze brush will capture more dirt and grime than the soft nylon.

I've used bonze brushes for a long time and it does the job.  But for a quick cleaning, I use the nylon.

Get a 45-cal Bore Snake.  Snake the barrel two or three times, lube the gun in the Three Magic Places and put it back together.

Also, don't brush-patch and then brush again.  Brush it as much as you'd like to, and then patch it until the patches come clean.  If you brush again, you'll just smear more crud around.
