Does the rail mounted lasermax extend past the barrel on a G19? I could only find one picture of that combo in the picture thread and with its slight angle I can't tell. I want to know if it does extend past the muzzle or because the job I am thinking of for it it would have to be no longer then the front edge of the G19. |

Yeah, man, if your G19 fits in there, it will fit just fine and dandy with the LaserMax installed on it. It adds maybe 2mm to the OAL of the G19. ETA: First Aid Kit?  With 135 rounds of 9mm, who is the 1st aid FOR??? The deliverman or the guy who gets turned into a human Lite-Brite?

Oh, come on. Is there ANY give in that material on the ends of the case? I mean, holy shit, look at my pic there. It's as close to the actual muzzle length as you could ever hope to achieve. I mean, shit, if it doesn't fit it doesn't fit but man, that's like the pubic hair of a mouse's daughter there. Dang, that's a tight squeeze. I thought for sure you were golden. |
Just tried it again, Put the 19C in there. I think I have 1mm, perhaps 1.5mm of leeway. That is why I want to know if its flush with the end of the barrel or not. Do you have the green or the red uni-max? |
I have the red laser. Forgive my asking, but if it's important to you to have this product in there, wouldn't it be worth giving up one of the magazines in that case in order to remove it and squeeze it in sideways? |

It's not all that important because I don't need a laser. I used to own a Insight CVL and decided that a visible laser on the carbine is useless for me. I had an Insight M6 and found the laser to be handy for teaching trigger control to people(they can watch the laser jump down(or right) if they jerk the trigger. But I didn't like the unfocused light on the M6. Lately I have been thinking about getting another laser. I'm not going to spend the money on a guide rod laser because I know people who have had reliability problems with them, not to mention I am not going to be seriously using it. Also I could throw the Uni-max on the AR with .22 adapter when I let kids shoot it. But I think it would spend most of its time on one of my fun guns, my 4th G19, a G19C. (2 are working guns, set up identically, and the first is a practice only gun) But hey, if I am going to waste some money, I at least want the toy to fit in the toybox. |
