| Looks great.....I want to do mine the other way around. OD Green on the slide and stock black on the frame. I just can't force myself to do it to a new gun. I have only had it two weeks. I was going to let it get a little wear on it first. :D Maybe next weekend...:D |
|
That's what I thought at first, then I saw one on here painted this way. I liked it. Just picked mine up monday, it KILLED ME to blast a brand new gun. But I smiled when I saw the outcome. Adding two coats tomorrow. One about 7 am, the next about 7pm. Then I'll clear coat it monday. Can't wait. Do it man! Don't look back! |
I'll usually paint two coats of each color. Depends on when the gun feels right to me. And either one or two coats of clear. Then a week of dry time before reassembly. When I blast something with AluOx it can Raise the fibers in plastic. So I paint and scuff until it feels perfect. And the poster above me is correct, it will definately outlive me. |
