| I have a 21 on the way and I have a Kahr PM9 so I already have 9 and 45 ammo. There is only a 4oz difference in weight. Which one to go for? A soft shooting 45 or a great 9mm? Or should I get a G17 or Beretta 92? Life is so confusing. |
Get the 30SF. Granted, with the 19 you get 5 more rounds, but 45 ACP is the way to go, for CCW. I have the 30, and carry it quite regularly. |

I have both, and I carry one or the other regularly. When carried in same model holsters, I really cannot tell which one I have on my side. Get whichever you like better. 11 rounds of .45 in a great package, or 16 rounds of 9mm in a great package. I love both of them. In fact, I have 3 19s, and 2 30s. One is an SF. |

I will only ever use glocks in 9 and 10 millimeter. The other calibers seem to have a disproportionately high rate of issues of one kind or another. Further, I am quite comfortable with the thought of fighting with a 9mm, and ammunition costs half as much. The G19 is the best Glock made. Period. |

There are advantages/disadvantages to both but they are both excellent, very capable handguns. I've owned both. Either way you cant go wrong. FWIW I sold off my 30 a while back due to the cost of ammo for it. I have a 17 and 19 now. As long as it's a Glock, you can't lose. |
| i was just trying to decide between a 36 ans a 30SF and ended up going with the 26...at first i wanted to stick with 45acp but the 26 felt so good in my hand and is small light and holds 10...also i figure as long as i have good ammo it will do the job if ever called upon...and with a lighter recoil i can get multiple accurate shots off... |
I bought the 30SF but my friend said he'd give me his 19 if I don't like it enough. |
