Ever since i got my G31 3 months ago my SA inc. 1911a1 Gi spec has been a safe queen for the most part.  While i do like the trigger better on the 1911, the glock IMHO is in a class of its own. Im looking towards trading my SA inc. in, and  picking up a G21.

How do the g21's shoot.  How do you guys like em??

The G21 is hands down the smoothest shooting 45acp you can buy.  It is a joy to shoot, rugged as heck, and now with the SF model, even you folks with small hands can shoot it comfortably.

If you're right handed, I'd suggest a G21SF with a std (non-ambi) mag release and Glock rail instead of the Picatinny rail.  For sights, I recommend TruGlo TFOs because they work very well in both bright sunlight and at night.

That's exactly what I'm planning on buying next!

This AM shot my buddy's G21 at the NRA in Fairfax...it was really sweet.  I have a G17 and G22, but the G21 is now a must have...the recoil seemed a lot less than my XD45 and 1911s I have shot...you gotta love these guns! v/r WK

If you have large hands look for a good deal on the regular G21, I saved about $60 last weekend by getting it instead of the SF. The thing shoots as good as my 1911 and was $400 cheaper.

i'd keep the 1911, and save up and get the G21SF...but then, i'm a fan of BOTH

You really don't need that large of a hand to fit the G21.  I'm 5'9", 180lbs and I put a Hogue HandAllâ„¢ on my G21 and I can still still touch my 1st joint on my middle finger with the tip of my thumb while gripping it.

I just bought a 21SF and love it.  A lot of people have complained about the ambi-mag release hurting their hand when they shoot it, but I have not had that problem.  My only complaint is that it won't fit into a Blackhawk Serpa holster for a 21 (I have the pic rail, not the glock rail).  I got a great deal on it.  I will do a proper range report soon, but I have been shooting roughly 3" groups at 25 yds.  The smaller grip really makes a difference to me.

Currently im shooting blazer brass out of my .45 and after 200 or so rounds i start to get fte's and need to clean the  the pistol. Its gets so gunky..... I would rather just get a glock in .45 acp and not thave to worry about fte's and problems..... my g31 runs great with what ever i put in it....

I don't own a G21 but I have had the luxury of being able to shoot various guns based on were I work. For me, the G21 made as ragged a hole with 13 rounds as my Kimber 1911 did with 8 rounds. And the Kimber is a more expensive "customish" type of gun.

The grip size on any of the Glock double stack .45's (even the SF models) is a bit large, but if you hands fit it, it isn't a bad choice IMHO based on my experience. I've never had a jam with a G21, G30, or G36 and I've fired several hundred rounds out of each of them. I just tell my boss it is for work related educational purposes

Local shop has a g34 asking 599$. Wasnt crazy about the smaller model ,but it does feel good in the hands. The only glock he has right at the moment. He has plenty of M&P's and rugers and Tarus. But its not a Glock
