I seem to recall hearing somewhere that Glock was taking back limited capacity mags and replacing them with new, full capacity mags for public safety consumers (i.e. mil/le/fire/ems). Has anyone else heard of this, or better yet, had Glock replace mags for them?

Any input would be helpful...

I'm going to call tomorrow because I have 3 10-rounders that I would like to trade for Hi-cap mags.

I'm sure it's Internet BS, but it would be awesome. I still have 4 "low cap" mags left over from the bad old days. Keep us posted.

I called today and they said no they are not taking the 10rd-mags in. Oh well.

Does Glock even replace ANY mags? I've never heard of this. Maybe I don't read enough.

They were doing this, like 4 years ago, when people still had 10 round magazines. I sent several back to Smyrna, but I can't remember if they were free or just really cheap.
