ive been thinking about getting one and a local shop has a new one with night sights for $585.....do the ports really make a big difference? what are the cons of it if any?? im just looking for anyone's take on the 19c thanks |

the C models do help w/ recoil redcution/quicker recovery...h/w, for the regular 9mm G19, its already smooth shooting, and a "c" model is kinda useless (kinda like a .45acp 1911 w/a full comp) also, what will this firearm be used for? generally, imo, comped/ported handguns are best used for competiton, range time, or plinking--not exactly for a duty/defensive/carry firearm (upward directional blast of debris, powder, flash, etc are my main problems w/ em...no matter how miniscle), but YMMV www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=5&f=13&t=52799 |
