i see people that mod their glocks usually round the front of the trigger guard.  what's the reasoning behind this?  i know most pistols have rounded trigger guards.  any reason why glock didn't?

i'd  say most do it for looks/style/traditionalism, etc

h/w, i've heard some say that the hooked front on the trigger guard on glocks can snag on reholstering, but i've never expierenced that

also, the hook does provide a "confined" platform/area for your forefinger (which was a technique used by some in the years past) forward of the trigger guard--these would be my guess why glock went w/ the squared off, hooked front part

or, they did it simply b.c it FITS the profile of the blocky glock

As one who owns a G20/21L, G22 and G23 and did it to my G20/21L, its because of style, and holstering ease.  As the front trigger guard finger grip is less accurate for me (and most people), I see no reason to have the flat there on my weapons.  If you like it, keep it.

Personally, I find the squared off trigger guard to be ugly and outdated.

Anywhere near as outdated as the rounded trigger guard on the spring chicken 1911.
