Got a grip reduction on my G22. Its not my primary duty weapon anymore but I still carry it when I feel like it. It fits my hand perfectly now, theres nothing like it. A local IDPA Master shooter does the work. I had him remove the finger grooves, add a beavertail, undercut and round out the front of the trigger guard, and  mold in a magwell.

That is probably the nicest looking grip reduction I've ever seen. It almost looks like it came from the factory that way.

Do you have any idea of what kind of method he used?

That is by far the best addition of a beavertail and magwell I have ever seen.  They blend in perfectly and look stock.  His reduction also is nice considering it also looks stock  Most times they look like crap.  His work is amazing.

It almost looks like he bonded peices onto the gun for the beavertail and magwell, blended them in, and then bead blased it.  The remaining texture doesnt look melted.

I was not too fond of the grip reductions either until I saw them in person at a local gunshow. But I knew that my glock never really fit my hand and it was worth a try. The frame has more of a  "1911ish" feel to it now.  Undercutting the trigger guard really makes a difference, no more rubbing against my middle finger.

Looks great, although personally I think the magwell is too big for a CCW, I can see it being great IDPA/USPSA however.

I like it, how much was it, and will he do one of my G20's, or better my G29. Can we get a link?

I have shot Glocks with grip reductions by Dale at gripreductions.com for the past two years in IDPA. He tailors the grip to the size of your hand so you get a true custom grip. I gave him one of mine to add a beavertail recently. It was ready in less than 48 hours. Quick turn around and quality work.

Have used the grip reduced Glock ever since Dale started doing the work several years ago and have won many IDPA trophies with them. Good work and highly recommended for Glock shooters that want a little edge.

I just got off the phone with Dale. He seems like a really nice guy. After I get some pics from him, and speaking with the wife, I think I will send her G17 down to him for some work.
