What might make a G19 9mm glock shoot 2 shots in 1 pull of a trigger? This needs to be fixed asap for obvious reasons! Technical advise only please...

update: on it's way to glock...

You'd better put that puppy in the hands of Glock for repair before close of business today or you may have a knock on the door, or maybe not (a knock, that is).

Replace trigger bar. May need complete internals upgrade if it is a real old one.

Check /replace your firing pin safety. Otherwise, call glock.

Alternative: I go to a good range that sells pistols and have swapped parts to troubleshoot. When problem is found, I buy the part from them. The Glock Armorers Manual does not discuss double tap.....so I can only think it is the firing pin safety that is not engaging after the first shot.

Trigger bar is what I figured... It's not mine but my friends isn't computer savy. He had tooken it to an Armorer in PDX who supposely test fired it without any issues. I guess I should have been clear, the gun only does this 1 out of 5 to 10 shots. It's unpredictable and dangerous and IMO should be dismantled and thrown away...
It will be fixed as he is as scared as a person could be. It's probably in a box on it's way to Glock as we speak...

My buddy's G21 did this. He sent it to Glock & now it's good as gold.

Check to see if there is a GSSF match in your area. Take it there and the armorers should be able to fix it. No $hipping, no wait.
