Is the GSG 5 the .22LR mp5 looking rifle?  That looks very interesting, everyone needs a Glock 17!  Tuff decisions.

I just bought the GSG 5 and its a pretty fun gun.  Its also cheap as hell to shoot which is a plus.

I noticed you live in California. The idea of a full size 10 shot 9mm is quite sickening. Consider a Glock in a larger caliber. If in your shoes my choice would be a Glock 30.

I  have a WASR 22 for the Exotic Plinker fix (So the Glock sounds like a new craze to enjoy )

I would take a middle path (Take 10 rounders to range and keep some 15 rounders at my homes...

Buy your first glock then you can pick up a 1911 anyday.  I picked up my 17 and will be ordering a matching 26 as soon as the OD handle ones pop up. for a compact back-up. The 17 will eventually be replaced by a 20 for HD (I have an order of operations on these purchases)

Then finally the 1911 (the one I want, plain jane SS springfield hasnt been available for a while anyways from the major discount distributors).

If you can get a colt 1911 for 600,jump on it!! You can always get a glock and 600 is to much for a glock even if it is new.
