In NY, we're stuck with our 10 rnd mags unless we go with the pre-bans. I was able to get 3 G19 prebans and was wondering if it was legal to put the +2 extension on them. They're already at 15 rounds as it, so would those extra 2 rounds be illegal since the extensions aren't pre-ban? ETA: NEVER MIND! I can't seem to find a G19 +2 extension anywhere. I guess it would make sense to buy pre-ban G-17 mages if I wanted those 2 extra rounds. |

"23. "Large capacity ammunition feeding device" means a magazine, belt, drum, feed strip, or similar device, manufactured after September thirteenth, nineteen hundred ninety-four, that has a capacity of, or that can be readily restored or converted to accept, more than ten rounds of ammunition; provided, however, that such term does not include an attached tubular device designed to accept, and capable of operating only with, .22 caliber rimfire ammunition." Straight from Article 265 NYS Penal Law. Only stipulates more than 10 rounds. I say you are good to go with pre-ban and extensions. |
