I have a G17 and two G19s. I love the 19 and it is my CCW of choice with a PM9 as back up. I do not shoot the 17 any better than the 19 and so the 17 does not get much use. My question is for the ones out there that have all three 9mms. Do you shoot the G34 better than the G19/17? I would trade off one of the G19s to fund the G34. Is the G34 much better than the G17? I have shot the G34 but only one time and not at a target so I'm not so sure how much of an improvement it would be for me over the G17/19. I love the 19 and do not want to part with it unless it looks like I could be a better shot with it. Since the extra distance of the sights does not help much on the 17, I'm thinking it might not on the G34. I have a 3.5 dis. on all my Glocks and NS on both 17 and 19 I'm shooting. Thanks for the help |

If you don't shoot the 17 better then the 19, then you may not shoot the 34 better then the 17. For me, my 17 and 34 is more accurate then my 19. If I never had a 17 I would say the 34 out shoots the hell out of a 19. Meaning group size on paper at long distance which I think is what you are asking. My 26 is accurate enough for me, just each model gets more capable with the longer sight radius. OTH, the G34 can feel slow when shooting up close. It is big and long and inside 10' you kinda notice, especially if you are used to the 19 |
That is what I'm asking. I'm quessing I'm not in the norm shooting a 19 just as well as a 17? Most of you shoot your 17s better? |
I shoot the 19 almost as well as the 17. I like the longer sight radius of the 17 and 34, but in the end I am very close with the 19. When I take my targets home from the range I have a hard time distinguishing which was which unless I write them on the target while I am there. |
I also shoot my 19 better than any other Glock. I've had three G34's and I keep selling them. I want to like it but it just dosen't do it for me. I have three 19's and counting.. |
