Hi, my 11 year old G-22 still shoots pretty well after 15k+ rounds, but wonder if I should treat it to a new barrel...other than OEM from Glock proper, any recemendations?  I think I would prefer a fully supported chamber, but not really critical I guess since no problems so far...thanks, v/r W

My 5 year old G22 has 27,000 rounds through it and the barrel still looks new.  I'm guessing that it will last 300 - 400K rounds at least.

You will get more chamber support with an aftermarket barrel, but you're not going to wear out your Glock's barrel, and you won't get total chamber support with an aftermarket barrel.

+1

I know that mark5pt56 has over 50K rounds through his G17 and he hasn't even come close to wearing out the barrel.
