Putting a full picatinny rail underneath the gun? I mean I know most all of them come with the light rail but this was a full picatinny rail with multiple slots. Is this new?

OP said picatinny rail.
I haven't seen a 22 with a 1913 rail yet, just certain 21SF's.

I thought that the 21SF was the only one with the full Picatinny rail....?

As far as I know the only one is the 21sf

It's just the G21SF. Rumor has it Glock made a bunch with the hopes of a military contract and since it never panned out, they have a bunch of them now. They aren't too popular as most people just want / need the standard Glock rail. I would be very surprised to see it on other Glock models.

There's a company making aftermarket frames that have the full rail.  I can't remember what their name is though.

I just purchased a glock21 sf, but mine does not have the  full picatinny rail with multiple slots. Does any one know why?

the original 21SF was released w/ the full pic rail and ambi mag release; since then, mostly i think due to consumer requests, other variations of the SF came out, including non-ambi mag releases and old school, single pic rail mount

what can the full picatinny rail with multiple slots hold that the single slot cant, is it worth it?

BTW...  yep, my 22 only has the single slot light rail...

It is as handy as a pocket on a shirt!

What the heck else would you mount under the belly of a Glock that would require the full Pic Rail?

Pics of the rail?

Some accessories are only designed to mount on a MIL-STD-1913 rail.  As such if you want to cross use any accessories with those already mounted on your long-gun, you might desire a 1913 rail.

Sigarms did the same thing with the P226 X-Five Tactical

Picatinny rails look ugly on most handguns anyway. The only gun to do it tastefully is the HK45.

Me too, and I like it...
