I was just wondering if anyone has built a Glock with an aftermarket frame, slide and barrel? To those who have, has this gun been trouble-free? Could you post pictures?
Thanks.

There was a guy on Glocktalk.com that built one using a CCF frame and Caspian slide but since the search function is disabled I can't find the thread.

Is it really a Glock if you use an aftermarket frame, slide and barrel?

To me, it is about the dumbest shit I have seen.  To each their own.  Glocks are like AKs, ugly, cheap, flat ass work.

For the tuners, gear heads, wanna be smiths, guys that can always make everything better, there is the 1911 platform.  That is the way to go if you want to spend 3 times as much and build your own stuff.

Most of us do that with our ARs, so I don't do it on handguns.

Okay, the reason  I asked this is because I'm thinking of buying a Glock 35 and also a 357 Sig and 9mm conversion barells for it. Then I see the stainless slides for sale on the Lone Wolf website and think that maybe later on I could just get a frame and have another complete Glock.

I have built Advantage Arms 22LR guns starting with a stripped Glock frame.
