[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Glock 22 Mags highest cap?

I just bought another Glock today a G22 and a Kel-tec Sub 2000 in 40 s&w.

The Kel-Tec takes G22 mags and I am looking for the highest cap I can get. the 9mm has 33 rounder I believe do the 40 S&W only come in 15 max?

Glock sells +2 round mag base extensions, and there is the Dawson Precision Glock Extended Basepad Kit, or the Arredondo Glock Mag Extension Kit which will add 5 rounds to a factory mag.

That's a damned Scherer mag. You'd do a lot better buying a G18 mag and expanding the feed lips to .40 specs. (specs can be found on customglockracing.com). You'll also need a .40 follower.

I had good results with Sherer mags in the past. I doubt the OP will be relying on this gun for SHTF so for playing at the range, I think they should be fine. I only had one of these and I used it in a Glock 22. I would not be afraid to try it!

this is a just a range rifle just for blowing stuff up. I will only use factory glock mags in the g22 for CC around town.

You can get a Glock factory G18 mag for less than $30. Why would you pay more than that for a Scherer?

I did a lot of reading on the mags I posted a link to and boy everyone hates them! Which is why you asked why? Because I just bought my 1st 2 glocks in the last week.

A g20 and a g22 I had to have two to make it work you know how gun math works.
