Anyone buy from this guy? Call and get voice mail and E-mail gets no response. |
|
I had an excellent dealing with Mark a year or so ago. But this year I contacted him by email for a pistol he had. No matter when I called I would only get the voice mail. Thru the email he confirmed he had it & I could purchase it. Since I don't like to email my CC info, I asked him (thru Email) to call me whenever he could so I can pay for it. He never contacted me again, even after re-sending the email requesting him to call me. Weird. |

I've bought from Mark in person and he has gone out of his way to complete a transaction for me in the past. I keep his number programmed into my cell phone and have never heard anything but his voice on the other end of the line when I've called him. I'd recomend summitgunbroker to anyone. Top notch seller in my book. |
| great guy, can be difficult to contact sometimes, usually by phone late morning is best. he's a one man operation and moves a lot of merchandise, has busy weeks and slow weeks. my best advice would just be to keep at it, he spends a good portion of his day on the phone, and that's why it goes to voice mail |
| Fantastic. First G17 he sent me had a buldge in the barrel. Sent it back and he made it right for me. Also included an extra mag I believe. My roommate got his G17 from him as well. I'm planning to order more (G17s) from him. I wish he had P225s so I could order them at the same time. Order with confidence. |

I've dealt with Mark at Summit around 10 times now and I've been extremely satisfied every time. He's a very busy one man business and he can be hard to contact sometimes. But, the personal attention you get from him when you do talk to him is well worth the effort. |
The gun I got was carried more than shot in my opinion. Mine has a BAK letter pre fix means it made in 94..The NS are still bright. It came with all Glock stuff. I think these got traded in to Glock directly and they rebuilt everything except the barrel, frame and slide. mine came with 3 brand new mags. mine has a pretty deep gash in the rear strap area. But its used so I can't complain. they are a good deal for the price. Mark is a nice guy with the southern accent. if you get the voice message, don't bother to leave a message. I left a couple and he never called back. Keep calling on the phone and you will get him eventually. or email him. |

Update gun arrived today. Sights are dim. Pretty well scuffed up everywhere. Right out of the box mag release won't release the mag, have to pull it out of gun. Slide release looks like got slid down pavement. Probably bent, when the mag is inserted you hear a SNAP-BONG the slide stop slips around the follower and grabs the side of it holding it in the gun. Called Mark right away and no response as of yet. Also got hit for a $10.92 for using CC that was not mentioned. Planned on the shipping and Transfer fees. So if I have to ship it back for another gun thru FFL $40 and another $15 for transfer of another gun I see no savings. This is a LOSE-LOSE deal. Went against my better judgment and bought sight unseen. Not real happy at this time and really don't want this gun any more at this point. I will wait and see if Mark respond to voice mail and how we resolve this. More later. |
What was your cost on this? |
You should have waited for his response before you posted this. |
+1 on that. Beat up the guy in public, then ask him to take care of you? Already calling it a "lose-lose deal" shows your mindset. Also, why would have to have ship it back through an FFL? Anyone can ship to an FFL holder. You need an FFL to receive a firearm, not ship it. |

Thanks to all of you guys that have had good reports for me. I am hard to get on the phone because I take time with each customer. It is hard to push thousands of guns without much help but I like to do it myself and there is far better deals coming. As for this deal. Bob, you bought a factory used gun from Glock. It comes with a factory warranty. I find it hard to believe that they would send it out with any problems but if they did they will stand behind it. Glock is a hell of a company. As for the 3% credit card charge you are the first one that has not noticed that on my web site. I guess there is a first for everything. I bend over backwards for my customers but I expect you to talk to me before spreading bad press. I don't see anything in here that is my fault but I am the only one getting the blame. As for the rest of you guys that stand behind me, thank you for the good words. The deals will keep getting bigger and the price will keep going down. Yes, I will see if I can get some help. Thanks' Mark Kitterman Summit Gun Broker LLC |

First I want to apologize to Mark for the post before his response. I was PISSED about the quality of the gun. I was thinking it would take over a week to get an answer, as it took that long to order the DAMN thing. That is what started this thread. After reading all the good press on SUMMIT and the good feed back from the others on their guns and the ones I have handled as recently as the day before ordering, I wanted to order. I was pissed at the quality of the gun I know he does not build the guns. I did not think GLOCK would let this go out this way. I was just stating the condition of the gun and the disappointment. I also will admit I did not see the 3% CC charge and still did not see it when saw on it the bill. Sorry again for that part, after 14+ hour days I miss shit. Also did not see the 3 day inspection THANKS for pointing it out. Mark, the distributor, Glock and I are trying to work out a deal everyone can live with. E.T.A. At this point I will fix the gun myself and sell it. I already purchased an as new replacement and have less in it than the original let alone adding shipping to Mark or Glock for an additional $45 to $55 shipping on my dime. Talked to Glock and was told the gun had not been there in 3 years and was not by the serial no. "used/rebuild". Talked to distributor and said it was, a whole other CLUSTERF**K . At this point I give up on this particular gun deal. LOSE-LOSE. |
