Since you're going to go with both the 19 AND 26, I would probably order the slide version of the 26 MTAC. You may want to speak to them about possible snagging when a longer gun is being used, but the slide version of the 26 would make your holster way more versatile. But my question is this: If you have and can conceal a 19, why would you wear a 26 on the waist? Why not get a pocket or ankle holster and use it as a BUG, especially considering that is IS so easy to conceal? J |

I have a Slide MTAC w/ the belt clips. I have not used it yet except around the house. The leather goes down below the bottom end of a G17 slide, so I would not expect it to snag on anything. The kydex covers the whole slide of my 27 , my old (just sold it last week) 19 just sticks out a little past the end, and the 17 just a little further. I have been carrying my G30 in a CTAC for over a year using the J hooks. I have found that w/ some pants the holster will "pull" the pants down behind the belt a little if the J hook (back hook) isn't right next to a belt loop. I think the clips will stop this problem , as they will be resting on the belt. It's not a huge deal, but the gun sits a little lower, takes away the cant of the grip, and makes it a little harder to grasp quickly. The only reason I have not used the MTAC is my 17 & 19 are for sale, and I haven't had enough trigger time w/ the 27 for carry. FB |
