What is the deal with factory rebuilt Glocks? Are they good, sound weapons that just get a once over at the factory? Or are they broken / damaged guns that get fixed? The ones I've seen looked good; but, what in the hell constitutes "factory rebuilt"?

Not really much to break on a Glock. The rebuilds are gone over and most of the internals replaced. In some cases, the slides are refinished. They're waranteed for life.
I prefer just getting good deals on pristine used Glocks ftf, privately.
