| So I'm looking add a little bit to my firearms collection, and I'm caught in a bit of a predicament....What next? I own a G19 right now, and I'm wondering...Should I get a G26 for my CCW, or keep the G19 for CCW and look for something different all together? Mainly a larger caliber, or a longer barrel 9mm? I feel like I should think about a larger caliber for the camping/hiking I plan for this coming fall, but I shoot my current 9mm so well I'm nervous about moving to something different. Or, should I buy a G26 for day to day CCW and just carry my shotgun at camp and while hiking? I'm curios for ideas.... Thanks. |

1st, i'd ask myself " what is the main purpose of the glock"--so, decide if you want a dedicated field gun or another CCW/BUG gun 1st if field: G20 (or wheelgun, mag caliber) the G19 should be just fine for general CCW; if you want a BUG or a more compact package, i'd opt for the G26 if you just want something else for general CCW, i'd also opt for the G30; if a general purpose glock is needed, i'd also consider the G34 (but it depends on what kinda animals you will come accross while hiking for loads) eventually though, you will end up w/ almost all of the glocks |
