Wondering what you guys would recommend for a G 19 IWB holster.

This is my personal equipment.

I have one and love it.  I'm also able to have my shirt tucked in to help cover the gun.

lots of choices

i'd recommend the CompTac (CTAC or the new MTAC), Threat Solutions UCR (or Desantis Scorpion copy), or the Milt Sparks (VMII)

Crossbreed, Kramer, Blackhawk, Desantis, Galco, and Bladetech are some others i'd look into

Threat Solutions is good stuff.  So are Comp-Tac and Bladetech.

The 19 and 23 are the same size. Here is a current thread on the same thing where ALPHAGHOST has covered it quite well.

comp tac, it allows you to adjust cant its very thin and the hold is secure.

this holster isn't mentioned much. but i've found it works great for me:

www.rmholsters.com/

i was having a hard time concealing my 19 and 23 until i bought it. i've been seriously impressed with how much easier it made it.

granted, i haven't used a ctac (which also seems to get great reviews), but with my job i needed something that was a quick on/quick off holster. something i didn't have to wear all day, but could throw on while running into the store or something.

Another recommendation for Comp-Tac.  They make several choices for IWB.  Great people to deal with, great warranty (I've screwed up a couple things and they took care of me), and great products.

Personally I don't find plastic holsters to be either comfortable or attractive.  I recommend and use Kramer, Milt Sparks, and Mitch Rosen leather.

The Rosen USD is awesome, but pricey.

The Milt Sparks Summer Special II is available from Brownells and it is usually in stock and ready to ship.  It is a great rig at a great price.

Finally, the Kramer IWB #3 is an excellent rig, and it is extremely durable.

You won't go wrong with any of them.

Sidearmor IWB. For 3:00 carry I'd recommend the 5 degree loops, for 4-5:00, then go with 15 degree. I also have a Bladetech Fits-All IWB that isn't bad at all. However, I think I'm making the switch to leather and never coming back.

+1 on the Sidearmor
I tried a CTAC as well and didn't like being gouged by it's sweat guard, the Sidearmor's guard is very minimal and follows the profile of the pistols slide and is much more comfortable to me.

desantis scorpian is ur best bet. the ucr holster and clips are one peice of kydex, the scorpian the clips are removable so if u break one u can replace it. u break a clip on the ucr u need a new holster.

the ctac has leather that after a while will dry up and crack. and retention is suspect.
the side armour iwb , will have ur leather belts for lunch. chewing them and spiting them out.
for stabilty and retention, and quality, ur glock 19 requires and equally tough holster, the desantis scorpian. the clips are so far apart they can work on any jeans, and the clips are super beefy.

Great to see this many responses, anyone try Crossbreed's Super Tuck IWB? I like how the leather comes up to the heel of the gun to prevent chafing, not common on many IWB holsters.

I use and like the CompTac CTAC kydex holster, but if you prefer a leather backing look into the new MTAC.

The 2 most common response are either the Comp-Tac C.T.A.C. or the Milt Sparks VMII. Both are very nice but each has their own advantages over the other. Not too long ago I came across the K&D Holsters' "Dakota Defender" which I've found to be the best of both worlds. The Leather and comfort of the VMII but the price and adjustibility of the CTAC. I've only had my Defender for a little while so far but so far, I like it a lot.
