Cutaway that is!

Just got back home with my early 2nd Gen G19 cutaway.

Upon closer inspection I get an idea about just how old this thing really is.

Here are some of the specifics:

1.All black internals
2. This is a 2-pin 2nd Gen cutaway frame,
3. "19" on trigger guard, with only "GLOCK INC., SMYRNA, GA" on it, like they used to be back before they started putting "Made in Austria" on them
4. Old firing pin safety without the shoulder
5. 90 degree cut and extractor without LCI and without the debris cutouts
6. old spring loaded bearing
7. Old firing pin spring without the debris cutouts
8. Other than the serial number, no markings on barrel
9. Older NFML Gen 3 magazine. No insert, no hole in floorplate, no markings on the follower

and 10. I know posting serial numbers is taboo, but, assuming they have gone in sequential order all this time with the cutaways, this would be a pretty early cutaway judging by the serial number "JQ370US".

"JQ" has been reserved for cutaways since the beginning. Only cutaways are "JQ". They have also dropped the "US" since then.

Maybe I am a nerd, but... NEATO!

Can't.

Offset hole in breech face, no point on firing pin.

It is a factory made GLOCK. All GLOCKs with the "JQ" prefix are factory made cutaways.

This one also came from another member at GT.

You wouldn't believe the price if I told you.

I thought it was a typo!

Alright GSD17,

That's 2 Glocks you have already, that do not fire commercially available "live ammunition".

If you're interested, I have a nail gun/cap gun/water gun/tape gun/caulking gun.

Got a G17T in your collection? Or the red Glock to practice trigger reset?

I actually talked to you about the G17T once, but never could get back in touch with you.

I have a G17T now.

I do not have a red P or R model, but am certainly interested. PM me if you have one available.

Are they actually firearms?  Could they be made live?  Just wondering if you have to register them.

Only have to register them if your state requires it, mine doesn't.

Yes, they are firearms, and can be converted to fire live ammo. Same with the T, P and R models.

They have their own serial numbers.
