Is a Lasermax for a glock a good idea or not.  I like the fact they are completely internal.  The only drawbacks I've heard are that the laser can unintentionally be turned on while in a leather or soft holster, and that the batteries are expensive and hard to find.

I carry a G30 in a Wilderness Safepacker daily.  The report that the take down lever/laser actuator can be bumped, turning the laser on and running down the batteries while in the holster, is the only reason stopping me from getting one.

Any experiences, or arguments for or against the Lasermax would be greatly appreciated.

I was given a Lasermax for my G27. It is very much "on" out to about 15 to 20 yards, and I experienced no problems with it. However... I find it to be pretty much useless other than as a novelty. I can't imagine I would ever pull my 27 to use it and turn on the laser in the heat of the moment. It is also very easy to accidentaly turn it on and kill the hard to find batteries.
