Does anyone carry a 21 daily? I'm wondering how you like it. I currently carry a 19, which I love, but I'm looking at possibly graduating to .45 and letting my wife carry the 19. It will also serve as a HD weapon and will see some target shooting, so I prefer to stay full size rather then going with the 30. It's either this or get a 26 for the woman and keep the 19. Opinions? |

Unless you are a very large framed person I doubt you can easily conceal a Glock 21. Do you have a buddy that has one for you to see about how you could conceal it on yourself? The only way I can conceal one would be in a very baggy shirt or with a coat (winter time). While I know alot of people that have Glock 21's I am yet to see one of them carry it as their CCW. Have you thought about the Glock 36? It is very close to the size of the Glck 19. It's a single stack .45 ACP with six in the magazine. Good luck. CSP |

I don't really know anyone locally as I just moved here from FL. So I can't really fondle one without going to a shop. I didn't really consider the 36 due to it's small capacity. 5'11'' and 170 lbs, probably not large enough. I guess the 19 can't be beat for what my needs are. |
| I own a G30; 2G21s;and a G20. The G30 is the only one that I'd even consider for daily carry. I'm currently carrying a G26, which is lighter than any of the .45s, thinner, and easier to conceal. Plus, the G26 is one sweet shooter. The fact that you can have a choice of 15-33rd. mags as backups is also great. I'd get the G26, since you already have the G19. The G26, of course, will also use the G19 mags. |

I own a G20. The only time i've carried it daily is during winter time here with a Galco shoulder holster. The weight and size of the frame does not lend itself to be a "carry" gun. If you feel you can dress accordingly and don't mind the weight, more power to you. It's not something i would personally do. The longer i carry a gun the less of a gun i want to carry. J |
+1 exactly what I do with my 21. The Galco miami classic under a winter coat, but very rarely do I carry this way and rarely is it the 21. The G21 is also significantly thicker than the smaller frame Glocks, making it even less desireable as a carry gun. If you have to have .45 ACP in a carry gun, you would probably be better served with an officer sized 1911. Why not carry a G17/19/26/27/22/23....????? You surely don't think that only .45ACP is suitable for two-legged critters? |

I think I'll just go with the 26 for my wife and continue to use the 19 for myself. It seems like the most logical thing to do and she likes the way it fits in her hands. I was thinking I might like a change, but you know the old saying; "if it ain't broke...." |
