I just bought my second G36, one new and one used. The used 36 has jammed twice in 100 rounds (FTF). This gun hasn't had anywhere near 1000 rounds through it yet so what is causing the gun to jam? I've had no problems with the new 36 and shoot both with the same ammo. I'm using PMC 230gr FMJ. The used 36 has an "E" at the beginning of the serial number. I called Glock and asked about this batch of 36s and was told they had no problems or recalls for that serial number. Any suggestions on a fix for the jamming problem? |
When you called Glock, did you mention the FTF?? If so, they probably would have sent you new mags or followers. Take a look at the followers on your new G36 mags. I'll bet they look different. Try those mags in your used G36 and I wouldn't be surprised if that cured it. |
