Picatinny and Glock Rail

I have held and fired both. The 21SF is nice, but definately not nice enough to sell my G21 and pay the additional price difference.

Certainly not. There is no benefit over the standard G21 whatsoever other than for those with smaller hands who just couldn't get a grip on the standard G21.

I prefer the standard G21 also.

I passed on a G21 several times.  I wanted one badly, but I just couldn't buy a pistol with such a large grip.  When I got my hands on a G21SF, I bought it right away.  I couldn't be happier with it.  If I could find my camera I'd throw some pics up.

I would like one also but with two G21s and over 20 mags and 3 holsters it just does not make it easy.  If only the old mags worked with the new G21SF.  I have a friend that is in the same boat.  Maybe Glock will make a G21SF with out the ambi that takes the old mags.

Yeah, I agree, If the 21 works for you, your probably not missing much.  I've heard that Glock is going to make a 21SF with the standard mag release.

That IS a big benefit if you have smallish hands, or short fingers (like me) and find the G21 is unuseable as anything other than a plinker.

I had a chance to hold the 21SF and my 21 together today. I have smallish hands, but to me honest, I cannot tell enough of a difference in the grip to make me want to get rid of my 21.

I do like the rail, I hope that future Glocks will have that rail.

ONce I held the new one I was unimpressed and cannot imagine that the people at Glock spent any time or effort in making that gun "better".  The grip could have been reduced alot more if you ask me.... especially if that is what all the ads are claiming... then do it.  The original light rail was fine and there was no reason to change it.

Hmmm, I like mine and the angle seems much better than the standard 21.  EItherway I hope holster makers hurry up and get some on the market that will fit with the pic rail.

I might be tempted to purchase a G-21 SF with the standard Glock rail. If that is, there is any truth to the rumour I heard that Glock is going to offer it with the standard mag release.

I kinda like the one with the picatinny rails, and I might just have to trade something in on one of them, if they are as good as everyone says

I'm ticked off that Glock didn't make a single stack .45, like a full sized 36.

Where did you get the mag extension? That looks pretty cool

I wish all glocks had the mil-std rail and that other pistol manufactures would follow.  It would make good reason for more accessories to be created.

Then again, my weapon light works fine on my Glocks and they never come off so what do I know...

As for the SF, I like my normal G21 so I will not switch.

aw shit...Up until I read this thread I was decided on selling my 21 to get the SF...now I need to keep the 21 I guess...and get an SF

wonder if they'll do the G17/G22 with the new SF styled frame as well.

that hump is way too pronounced on the old Glocks, not to mention, the SF points MUCH better than the old frame.
