I want to upgrade the sights on my G34, w/ 33rd of Ranger its my primary HD weapon. I was looking at the Hexsite as a prime candidate. Anyone have experience with these?

i have not tried em

FWIW: sorry, but a lot of those hexsight 'facts' and attacks on other, proven current sights seem a tad exagerated...i'd just as soon get a pair of good night sights and stick w/ them (warren tacticals, trijicons, meps, Heinies, even the big dot XOs)

tag for responses on the hexsites...but i'm thinking that these are just another ghost-sight for HGs type hype and not really any more beneficial (esp for a little distance shots) vs regular, more narrower front night sights (which is whats suppose to be focused on vs thier emphasizing focusing on the target 100%)

Agreed.  I would have to try them to decide for sure, but without tritium inserts they would take awhile to grow on me in the dark I suspect.  I think the meps on all mine will serve just as well, or better, and I already know the quality of their machine work and fit to the slide which to me is a huge unknown for this company making hexsights.  They may be great, or they may fit the gun like a 10 year old with a dremel machined them (who could tell from the shoddy website, no?).

I would go with a set of the Seveigny Carry sights or some Heinie Straight 8s.

+1 on the Heinie's.

The Warren Tactical offerings are top notch. I have also had excellent luck with the Ameriglo standard sights and Operators.

Sevigny/WTS on my G34 & G35. They have been excellent. Thinking about getting a set of the Carry version.
