[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Squeaking noise?

My Glock has a squeaking noise when I pull back the slide activating the recoil spring, is this normal in all Glocks or do I need to lube it more?

Normal, it's just the spring telling you it's working. Like the boing with an AR

If you get a squeaking noise it’s trying to tell you to shoot it more. The noise will lessen the more broken in it gets but if you can hear the squeak over the BANG you have a bigger problem.

I figured that, my G21 only has around 80 rds through her so far.

Put some oil on the spring assembly and the squeak will be gone.
