I have looked on several boards, including this one and cannot find the answer, so I am asking now.... What is the grip ANGLE like on the 21SF? The reason I ask is that Glocks do not fit my hand well. They point high for me, whereas a good 1911, HK USP, Springfield XD, etc. all point naturally. Does the frame reduction of the 21SF change the angle significantly enough to allow a natural point of aim for a 1911 man? Thanks. |
| I can't comment on the reliability comparison between a 1911 and a G21SF, having never had a failure with either (30 years with 1911, 30 days with G21SF). But the grip angle of the G21SF is pretty much standard Glock, and it definitely isn't a 1911 grip angle. If you hate the standard Glock grip angle, you won't be wild about the G21SF, either. However, unless you're a quick-draw artist or a point-shooter, the sights do wonders for the pointability although you do have to change your wrist angle a bit to compensate for the different grip angle. |
| Don't mean to hijack this thread however, I have an additional question. Does anyone know how long they will offer the model with the pictanny rails? I've heard they are only going to make a short run of these if they don't get the military contract. Anyone really in the know on this? |
