I want to buy a glock and put an extended/threaded barrel on it (just because it looks so bad ass). And I was wondering...since it would have one evil feature (threaded barrel), is the glock 17 considered a "semi automatic version of an automatic firearm(ie glock 18)"?  If it is, that would mean that there would be two evil features and I would need a pre-ban glock right?

Thanks

No. Quit reading what isn't there.

You can put a threaded barrel no problem. Many people have threaded barrels for a compensator. There are issues if you want to add a forward hand grip, and or shoulder stock.
