Mine works like a champ. Thing is, I just don't find much time to shoot it. When I reach in the safe to go to the range, I never pull it out and pack it up.

I've got five other Glocks that get good use at the range or carry, but the 22 just get's no live from me.

Maybe because I carried it on duty as LEO for 5 years, so it got plenty of use then.

Been shooting the hell out of mine for over 8 years without a problem.  Of course my 23 & 27 have never had any problems either.  Great pistols, enjoy it.

yeah i was posting topics asking people about 40 cal glocks and such and they were saying they "KB'd" alot but i just decided to go with the 40 cal that fit me the best.  i have not shot it yet its still in the 10 days waiting period for california but i fondled it for a good amount of time today being and all my friend owns the local gun store.. he has a glock 23 and says he loves it ..i hope its a joy to shoot and i dont have problems with it because i just love the way that gun feels in my hand. I dont get it people say their ergo's suck but damn that gun fits me like a glove.

I totally forgot about this. haha but i have recieved my g22 and i really like it.quite a bit more snappy than my 17 but managable i am not able to achieve GREAT accuracy from it yet i can keep ok groups at 25 yards. in the vital zone wich is good enough for me. what kind of accuracy do you guys get from your g22 lets say at 25 yards? any pointers?

It's the best home defense weapon on earth.  It has a 15rd magazine that should take care of just about anything.

I got the nines first (G17, G19) but the G22 will be my next Glock.

I decided to ignore all the junk on the internet about 22s blowing up or being less durable etc.

G22s are the most prolific gun in LE service as well as being one of the most popular with civilian sales.  If there was really a problem with their quality (save for the occasional lemons) you would hear about it all the time, which doesn't happen.

Im sure some of the stories are true, but not enough to be concerned about at all.  I think its more of a case of the G22 being the top handgun and everyone else wanting a piece.

I think you made a good choice

Someday I will have a 22 as well.

Enjoy

yeah i got a g17 first its like a disease i just want to buy more Glocks!!
yeah i decided to just disregard all the stuff i heard about g22's going kaboom haha and i thought the same as you did. its being adopted by more and more LE agencies everyday so it must be a fine weapon. it has proven to be more than worthy so far! snappy pistol if i do say though. but VERY fit for any scenario you will need a pistol in. it packs a nice punch with good penetration.
