I can't get my new tru-glow brite site to walk in all the way!!  I'm a heavy 1/8" away.  Should I just hit harder?

Glock tech string has had no response on this topic!!

If you're going to do more than one, I would suggest you invest in a sight pusher such as the Glockmeister sight tool.  I've done a bunch of them, and it is sure as hell better than a hammer and a punch.

FWIW.

Well all is well.  Did my first set of rear sights, O.K.!!  I also swapped out the mag rel., front sight, slide rel, barrel, firing pin spring, saftey spring, trig ret spring, and installed a ghost rocket.  Not bad for my first trip to the bat

Cross your fingers - it is very likely you have not helped the reliability of your Glock machine.

A little over a year ago I paid big bucks to have a gunsmith do this to my G22 for IDPA competition.  Gun has ran flawless.  I WANT LESS RECOIL!!  So I decided to try this myselfon myG17, wasn't that difficult after all!!
