You guys that shoot and carry the 36 - what loads do you prefer for the range vs CCW use ? I picked one up yesterday and am about to start shootin' the bastard. I believe I will be carrying IWB front of R hip. Any leather recommendations ? |

Make sure you grab it hard, it loves to stove pipe with a loose grip (like my g/fs). I have become fond of Corbon for self defense, its the all copper stuff. For range shooting, I buy in bulk. 1000 rds was around 220 last gun show, I believe. I have other .45's so I get alot! I think mines a Galco IWB tuckable. I wear it on the hip, maybe a little forward. It hides very well, I use it when I wear just a shirt. G17 goes on in the winter when I have larger clothes like a jacket on. |
