[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Glock 17 slide

Is there any place I can buy just a Glock 17 slide? Don't need the barrel, and I can get the other small parts, I just want to buy a G17 slide.

GOOD LUCK. I have been trying to but a G-22 upper. I talked to tech services at glock the other day they told me that they do not sell slides or uppers.

Because recently I bought 2 G17 frames I was going to use with Advantage Arms .22lr conversion kits, but now I want to build one of them up as a standard 9mm.

You will need to have some patience but they regularly pop up on evilBay and our very own Equipment Exchange sometimes.

You can try Caspian Arms, they do make slides for some models of Glocks. matt

I contacted GLOCK last week with this very question as I'm buying a suppressor for a G17 and wanted a designated upper so I could install higher sights to see over the can....

They thought it was a great idea, but couldn't help, other than to suggest I buy a new G17. Also contacted Lone Wolf--no go there. I also tried to get a factory threaded barrel....no go.

Keep checking GunBroker.com. I bought a G24 upper there once. You may end up having to buy the whole top half, Jethro!

Once in a while you can find an upper on Ebay. to buy the parts and put an upper together runs about $50 less than buying a full gun ready to go.
