I have never owned a Glock yet, but I am thinking of getting a few for CCW and also maybe for bug out guns for the family.

I will probably get them in 9mm, just because of the mag. capacity and cheap ammo. They will definitally either be 9, or .45, but I am leaning towards 9mm for now. Can someone list the different models that are 9 and .45? Are Glocks easy to disassemble, and are parts interchangeable between different models? Also can magazines interchange between different models?

Thanks in advance.

I have owned many different handguns but now only have two Glock 26's and one Glock 19. The subcompact G 26 s the lightest, the easiest to carry concealed and holds ten rounds. The next size up G19 holds 15 rounds. The 15 round mag also works in the G26, as an earlier post mentions. Both are very accurate, reliable and fun to shoot. I have altered the grips to make them more comfortable but maybe you won't feel the need to do that. Also Glocks are easier to replace parts yourself. Original and aftermarket parts more available than all but 1911 guns.
