| If I order a new Glock lower for my 30 will they send me a new one with the light rail or just replace my current one with the same model w/out the light rail?. Does anyone know how much it should cost me? |

I called Glock a couple weeks ago and the person on the phone said Glock no longer offered frame exchange replacements. My guess would be to call and ask. It may all depend on who answers the phone. You might be better off(and faster) to sell your G30 and purchase a new one. |
I was told that it'll have a different serial #, but that if you ask for it they'll provide a letter detailing the switch. Thankfully, I have no experience with registering firearms, so I can't help there. Sorry. I'm with hotrod though. After considering it, I decided I'd be better off selling my existing and picking up a NIB. Then I thought about it more and decided to keep my gen II 19 and buy a gen III. |

I just sold my 2nd gen Glock 21 with one hi-cap, one 10 rounder for $375. I picked up a new 3rd gen Glock 21 w/ 3 hi-caps for $530. $155 difference. You can't change a frame and pay for shipping and do it for that money. Virgin Glock 21 goodness: Can you get a Glock 30 w/ light rails? It isn't in the pic on the Glock website: glock 30 link |
