I just picked up a 33 round G18 mag for my G19 and it got me thinking. How accurate is the G18 when shot full auto? I've seen videos of the G18 but the camera is always on the shooter and not the target. I was just curious if the shooters are actually staying somewhat on target or if it's just spraying rounds rather inaccurately?

Just curious.

theres a vid on you tube..A fella is putting the 18 through the paces and it looks fairly accurate in short bursts..even at full auto it looks fairly controlable...Hes hittting a couple different targets..I'll look for the link...

There's a video of RSilvers shooting a Glock 18 and he had a hard time hitting some bowling pins. Also, google FSSG and it'll bring you to the webstie for the FSSG switch. Basically makes any Glock full-auto. It seems pretty controllable in that video as well.

They all look like hits to me at decent range.

I got to burn a mag through one last spring, I was really surprised at how accurate it was.  Granted I wasn't really target shooting with it (c'mon - it's a G18! ), but it was way more controllable than I ever thought it would be.

Too bad I'll never own one, but if I could it would actually be very high on my list of FA's to have.

Looking at the backstop the rounds definately seem to stay pretty close together. I'm surprised actually, I thought it would ba hard as hell to hold on target.

I've shot a G18C, and a number of regular glocks w/ a conversion on them.  A G19C was the most controllable, but the G18C was close behind.  In my experience the non-ported glocks were much more difficult to control.  With the G19C it wasn't difficult to get a 4 - 6" group at 7 yards when dumping a G18 mag.
