I'm a new owner of a Glock 26hose I have a pearce pinky extension for 1 of my 10 rounders and really like the feel of the contoured grip. Does anyone have experience with the Glock 26 12rd mags (Factory +2)??? I'm trying to decide between the Glock and Pearce mag extensions. Thanks in advance. |

the G26 factory 12rnd mag is simply a 10rnd mag w/ the glock +2 extention; it works great for me when i use my G26 as my primary CCW--i use the flush 10rnd as my BUG mag i carry G17 17rnd +2 extention mags as spares imo, if you get any finger extentions, make sure its primary function adds rounds to the mag

+2 extensions on the 10 round mag is still the way to go on a M26. I have one on mine and it is just the ticket for a little extra lenth I need. |
Agree. The standard mag is too short for most anyone to "grab and stab" and get a decent hit in a hurry. Yes, it conceals a bit better and it can be shot fine...deliberately...but try "Oh Shit" high speed draws with only one hand and see what you get...for me I got crap accuracy. |
| A pearce grip extension will help with the grip. If you need a larger grip and more capacity, choose a compact G19. Adding a +2 extension will in no way help your accuracy. Training will be the only thing that will help with the "high speed" draw. With dedicated training you are very capable of getting great accuracy and speed out of any of the subcompacts. It is not automatic. |
The +1 Pearce etention doesn't affect it at all because it only adds length to the front side of the grip and not the back. The way I cant mine, it doesn't print any more/less than with a magazine without the extention. |

Update.... I recently bought a Pearce 27/33 (+1) extension and installed it a G26 10rd mag. It actually adds +2 rounds to the mag making it a 12 rounder - this makes a huge difference in the feel of the Grip, and is moulded to match the G26, so it looks great, too. As some of the other posters have said, it only adds length to the front side of the grip, so it barely affects the concealability of the weapon. I purchased a G26 12rd mag (Factory +2) also, but I still prefer the feel of the Pearce 27/33 extension. It costs a few bucks more per mag to go with the pearce grips rather than the Glock Factory 12rds, but IMO it's worth it. I just ordered a couple more for the rest of my mags. I would recommend the Pearce Grip extensions for anyone wanting to improve the grip on their Glock Subcompacts. Has anybody had any bad experiences with the Pearce extensions?  |
