At one time I had eight of them, 21, 22, 23, 27, 30...

Sold them all, got bored, went to Sig and H&K....someting is telling me to get some 9mm Glocks.

Who has the best prices on magazines...when I got into them G21 mags were $9 each at the local gun shop, he was ginvig me LEO discounts...

NOw I am considering a 19 and 26 or 19 and 17.  I have a pile of connectors, guide rods, springs and accessories left over, most new in wrapper, so I will put the accessories to good use.

My 17 is the most fun gun I own.  I think I shoot it more than anything else.  9mm ammo is cheap and reliable, I can get 1000rd box of new ammo for 147 w/tax locally.  It also takes a light, I added a surefire x200.

Go for either the 17 and 26 or the 19 and 17, but get a 17 if for no other reason than it was the first Glock.

I love my 17 and am considering carrying it instead of my Glock 30.

A 17/26 combo would cover everything you need and the grip finger spacing is the same.  The 19 finger grooves are crammed together more.

Good luck.

I'd go with the 17/19 combo.  Although a 34 ain't at all bad.  I don't really care for the sub-compact Glocks, the compact models are more than small enough for CCW IMO.

Welcome back.

I got a G19

added extra G19 magazines and even some homey clips (33rnd mags for G18) from:

Equipment Exchange »  Handgun Mags, Parts, & Accessories »  WTS: Factory New Glock HICAPs $16.50 and 33rd $25

Great price and great service!

I've gotten bored too, but I always come back to Glock.  They are just that damn good, the 19 is the best Glock and compact 9mm in it's class.

I agree.

I have settled on the 19 and will more than likely get another 21.

My wife use to shoot with me and when she did she used my 23, the size felt good to her.  With the cooler weather, I may lure her back to the range with the softer 19.

The 21 will be my "evacuation gun", learned our lesson with Katrina.

My first Glock I purchased was a Generation 1 G23, brand new was $339, purchased 10 hi-cap magazines at $10 each.  I found a G19 at a local store for $489, I asume this is about right these days.

Thanks for you input.

I would agree, until I discovered that the space between the trigger guard and the first finger groove are smaller on the 19 than the 17 (which is pretty comfortable for me). No idea why they did that, but it's the reason I'll never own a 19 or 22 (unless I find a 2nd Gen).

I have shot other pistols, 1911, CZ-75, Sigs, never sold my 1st. G17 tho. I have had it 13 yrs, still not crazy about the trigger, but, it has never once failed to go bang when i pull the trigger.I did sell a G21 , it was just too big for my hand.
Now, i am back to my Glock, and got a new G26 to carry.
It's hard to turn your back on 100% reliability.
