I've had a G17 for over a decade and I love it. Although I have plenty of other firearms, the one I trust my life on is my good old 17. Recently a shot a brand new .40 G27. I didn't think I'd like shooting it because I have big hands and wasn't crazy about the way my little finger dangles off the grip. Well, I was in for a pleasant surprise. It was a joy to shoot and I actually was much more accurate with it than my 17! After boring out the center bull of the target I was shooting, I drilled two mags into a 2 inch square of duct tape. Does anyone else shoot these little snubbies better than their full size brothers? Looks like a 27 will be in my future, especially in time for next years GSSF match.

I used to have a G34 that I was more accurate with.  However, I totally agree with you about the accuracy of the G27.  It is absolutely amazing how well this little sub-compact shoots.

BTW, when you buy your own be sure to get the grip extension.  It makes a world of difference in how well the gun feels.

I have a G27 i use for conceal carry and it is a great gun. I have roughly around 3,500 rounds through it now and have had no problems. Yea for some reason it does seem a little more accurate to shoot versus my 22 and 23. I enjoy it.

Get the factory plus 2 extension.  It fits and functions alot better than the aftermarket ones.  Yes, the 27 shoots better than the 22 for some weird reason.

I've carried a 27 for 6 years now. It's small, light, and holds 12 rounds of .40. It's  a great package! It's a perfect little point shooter too.
